April Update

Dear Friend, I don’t know about you guys, but we at the center are so thankful that it is April! Mask mandates are being lifted. Resurrection Sunday happened, reminding us that the tomb was empty and we have the hope and confidence of salvation. Speaking of salvation, we were able to take the Battlewagon out 7 times in the month of March, and two people accepted Christ! We are looking forward to what God has in store for us and the community this month. Please check our Facebook page as we will be keeping everyone updated on our location. Matthew 28:19—Go ye therefore and make disciples of all nations.

May 8th is the Walk for Life. This is one of two large fundraisers that the center has every year. As a reminder, we take no state or federal funding, only private donations and grants. The Walk will be at Creekmore Park. Registration starts at 8:30am, and the Walk starts at 9:00am. All outdoor restrictions have been lifted. This is not an athletic event, just a simple stroll around the park. Please plan to attend and bring your family. If you would like to get your church involved, please let us know and we can bring you the information needed to make this happen. Meet us at the gazebo! Let’s show our support for the sanctity of human life, and the knowledge that life begins at conception. Psalm 139:13—For you created my inmost being; you knit me together in my mother’s womb.

I would like to share a story with you guys. As most of you know, we offer parenting classes. The classes are mainly online, making it easy for our girls (and guys) to take. This month a girl came in to sign up. She was told by the courts that she needed to take parenting classes to receive custody of her children. When she searched “parenting classes”, the center’s name came up. Tammy asked permission to sign her up and I said yes! As Tammy was talking with her, she asked about her spiritual beliefs. When asked if she would go to Heaven or Hell, she said Hell. At that point Tammy was able to lead her to the lord. This girl was a divine appointment, I have no doubt! Thank you Jesus for sending her to us! What the enemy meant for evil by taking her kids away, the Lord meant for good. May the kingdom be crowded! Romans 8:28—And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are called according to His purpose.

Please continue to keep us in your prayers. We are on the front lines trying to be the hands and feet of Jesus. This does not make the enemy happy. Pray for protection, provision, funding and staffing to be able to continue the work of sharing the Gospel with all that enter our doors and those we encounter in the community. Thank you all in advance for your continued support!
